The medical prescription (or red prescription) is the means by which the general practitioner or paediatrician prescribe medications and specialized services, such as diagnostic tests and visits. The medical prescription is completed on the appropriate prescription form of the National Health Service.
The medical prescription, among other data, indicates:
- details of the insured;
- tax Code or STP Code ;
- any code of exemption from payment of the ticket.
